The Genesis Foundation: A New Beginning
is a 501(c)(3) faith-based, non-profit organization that
develops, funds and manages programs for children with
special needs.
We provide grants to assist families of
children with special needs, from birth to eighteen years,
with assistance for medical supplies, equipment and
services not covered by public or private insurance.
Our mission is to give children hope for a
productive and fulfilling future by providing healthcare,
education, opportunities for development, mentoring,
counseling, foster care and adoption.
We help
because people need help.
All the money and all the programs in the world are not
the solution. People need to feel loved and cared for.
They need to be listened to, touched, encouraged and
believed in. Our organization is not solely designed to
provide assistance for medical treatment. Our aim is
directed toward helping people regain their worth and
realize their potential. To discover and develop their
ability to help themselves, while experiencing the love
and support of a true friend. This can only happen when
people help other people. It's not the program or the
organization that people will remember, it's the people
that cared enough to help.
