Select one perfect lamb on 10th day, kill it on 14th day, before the evening (outside of camp), eat it at twilight---return home in the morning.

Passover Seder, a dinner in which you tell Passover story. No leavened food.  (Afikomen)

Sacrifice   one perfect male lamb.

Yeshua, the Lamb of God was sacrificed for us. 1 Cor. 5:7

Step 1: Redemption, beginning of salvation, deliverance---apply the Blood of the Lamb of God to our hearts (spiritually) by accepting Him. (1 Peter 1:28-29)

Yeshua dies on the Cross and bears our sins.

Purge all leaven from the dwelling and eat only unleavened bread (matzoh) for 7 days. No work 1st and 7th day.

Offering by fire for 7 days: 2 bullocks, 1 ram, 7 lambs, and sin offering...1 kid.

Step 2: turn from sin, humanistic values, and worldliness. Be holy. (2 Peter 2:9)

Yeshua is buried, descends to Hell, makes a spoil of all principalities & powers, takes the keys to Death and Hell.

Bring in firstfruits of barley harvest; 1 unleavened loaf for wave offering, no work.

Yeshua arose from the dead on this day to be the Firstfruit of the Resurrection. (He was the only sinless One ...unleavened)

Step 3: Consecration to Jesus...our lives, possessions, talents. HE gets the firstfruits. (Romans 12:1)

Yeshua is resurrected, walks on the Earth for 40 days, then ascends to Heaven.

The Holy Spirit came down on the day of Shavuot (Pentecost); the beginning of the Church, the firstfruits. (We still sin... leavened) Acts 2

Step 4: Being filled with the Holy Spirit to give us power to be witnesses for Jesus.

Holy Spirit comes, the Church begins, Israel is partially blinded and the Gentiles come into the fold. The state of Israel ceases for a time.

TRUMPETS

Rosh Hashanah

Memorial of blowing of shofars (trumpets); a call to return to God, 'Tshuvah' and prepare the heart by repentence.

No work, blow 2 silver trumpets, & blow the shofar (ram's horn); time of remembering and repentence, a time of return to God.

Blow a shofar (ram's horn); 10 days of penitence; this is called the Jewish New Year.

The regathering of Israel to the land; Israel begins to hear testimony of Yeshua and begins to repent---before the 2nd coming.

Step 5: Testimony; be a witness for Jesus; share the good news. (Acts 1:8)

Israel begins to gather to the land and to God again, and becomes a nation once more. They begin to turn to their Messiah---suffer persecution.

ATONEMENT

To make atonement for all of Israel, that they might have peace with God and be cleansed of sin for another year.

No work; Israelites to afflict their souls, repent of the past year's sins; high priest to make a blood atonement for himself...then for all of Israel.

Most solemn day of the year; no work, fast all day. The Orthodox Jews gather near the water to symbolically cast away sins; all vows are dissolved.

Israel 'says' "Blessed is He that comes in the Name of the Lord" (Math. 28:29); Israel 'looks upon Him whom we pierced and mourns.

Step 6: Being truly 'at one with God'---conformed to his image. (the perfecting of the Body---death---being with the Lord) 2 Cor. 5:6-9 Phil 1:23

The birth pangs increase---at some point, the judgments on the unbelieving world begin. Israel mourns for their sins and looks to Yeshua.

(for 7 days and 8th day is a holy Sabbath)

Feast of rejoicing for the final ingathering of harvest;  and to commemorate deliverance from Egypt and from 40 years in wilderness.

No work, special offerings each day; take branches of palms and rejoice, build a 'booth'  outdoors and dwell in it for 7 days.

Tradition adds 1 extra day---9 total---songs of praise; booths built and meals eaten inside by Orthodox.

13 young bullocks on first day... (1 less bullock each day), 2 rams, 14 lambs

1 year old; sin offering...1 kid.

Final harvest (Math.13:24-30) wheat and tares, separated, tares burnt, all believers to be gathered to God and rejoice forever (Micah 4:1-5)

Step 7: Resurrection---putting on the new bodies, our heavenly tabernacles and rejoicing forever.

Yeshua returns---unbelievers are gathered and judged. Believers gathered and time of rejoicing begins.
